Encouraging and guiding those of humble beginnings to achieve successes in life—that’s the work of Cumberland Community Action Program, Inc.
Cynthia Wilson, CEO

At the Cumberland Community Action Program, we are dedicated to helping build a better community by assisting individuals and families achieve and sustain economic security. Since our founding in 1965, CCAP has remained at the forefront of anti-poverty efforts, evolving and expanding to be where our community needs us, when our community needs us.

When asked what distinguishes CCAP from other regional nonprofits, I call to mind the unique mission of service and the compassionate, professional staff that make this agency move forward daily. We are all committed to the goal of eradicating poverty in our area and removing obstacles traditionally under-resourced individuals face as they grasp each wrung of the economic ladder of success.

As we prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead, we will continue to make decisions based on the needs of the communities we serve. We welcome you to browse through our CCAP corporate information and each of the program pages on this interactive website, to join our social media communities, and to engage in our mission of service in whatever way you can!

We welcome the opportunity to serve you now and in the future.
